Painting our portraits....

Year 1 used mirrors to help them to identify their facial features.

They looked very carefully at all their facial features before painting.

Year 1 went on a 3D shape hunt.....

They found lots of shapes around the school grounds....

Year 1 used the computer to help with their maths activities.

Bike madness!!!!

The children had a chance to play with lots of different bikes, scooters.....

........in fact anything wheeled......it was great fun!

The children explored different puppets to help them decide what they would like their puppets to look like.

The children had lots of different fabrics to choose from and could use a variety of materials to decorate their puppets.

We think that the children in Year 1 did a great job.

A trip to the local Post Office as part of the themed week linked to the 'Jolly Postman' stories.

The postman paid a visit to school to tell the children all about his job.

Money....money.....money.....

In Gym Year 1 explored creating shapes with a partner.
