Our Mission Statement

At North Farnborough Infant School we endeavour to instill a love of and excitement about learning, where we are the starting place on a life long journey of discovery.

We will work to provide the 4 E's:

·   Engage the children to become life long learners

·   Educate the children to their full potential.

·   Enable the children to become independent, enthusiastic learners and thinkers.

·   Enrich the children?s learning with broad opportunities and experiences.

These are the aims which we aspire to at North Farnborough Infant School.

To achieve these aims we must:

·   Ensure a happy, safe, secure and healthy school environment where children have freedom to express themselves and want to learn.

·   Create a stimulating, challenging and exciting learning environment that meets, yet goes beyond, the demands of the National Curriculum.

·   Provide opportunities, which enable the children to discover an enthusiasm and joy for learning and discovering.

·   To maintain consistently high expectations of learning, teaching and behaviour throughout the school.

·   To encourage independence and individuality so children reach their potential.

·   Foster a community where respect for others, the school and its surroundings are highly valued.

·   Develop each child?s physical, moral, social, creative and intellectual potential.

·   Promote a positive partnership between home, school and the community.

·   Value children and develop in them self-discipline, self-confidence, self-respect and self-esteem
