Chinese New Year Celebrations with Year R
Welcome to Chinese New Year NFIS style ~ we had an amazing week finding out about their festival and celebrations
Wings Chinese restaurant popped in for a visit ~ they showed the children how to make different Chinese dishes including 'wontons'. The children had great fun getting stuck in with the chefs to create their own wonton. They talked to the children about Chinese new Year and how it is celebrated in the Chinese community - A BIG THANKYOU TO THEM FOR VISITING US | ||
Noodles and rice are difficult to handle with chopsticks, but we had a good try!!
